Because auction bookings prevent the auctioneer from accepting other engagements during that time, the auction fee remains payable in full once the booking is confirmed, regardless of whether:

• the property sells prior to the scheduled auction date
• the property is withdrawn from sale
• the auction is cancelled by the vendor or agent

This ensures the auctioneer’s time and preparation for the campaign are reserved and honoured.
